This record group consists of various records of the Cheboygan County Treasurer for the years 1856-1918. The record group includes: ledger of expenditures for temporary relief of persons not in poorhouse (1888-1889); tax histories (1856-1918); journal of Beaugrand Township (1872-1889), consisting of a journal of accounts relating to primary money, highways, delinquent taxes, cemeteries, and expenses paid from the general fund; cash book of County Treasurer (1885-1899); and state militia account book and ledger (1900-1901), offering names of members, dues, and dates of payments.
